Spring Update
Share
This is mostly a fun update, but it does include some information about our titles both forthcoming and in production so do read on.
Some of you will remember how, back in the mists of Hadean time, we carried a wonderful selection of titles from other publishers and authors, many of them friends or acquaintances of ours, and some complete strangers. In recent years we’ve half-heartedly kept this going, but now we’re bringing it back in full force. You’ll want to keep an eye on our Friends and other Imprints page to see what new titles we bring in. We’re starting slowly but will build this up in the coming months so if you know of an interesting publisher or self-published book that you’d like to see on our site, please let us know.
We are also working on branded apparel, starting with our ever popular ‘Hadean Era Magician’ logo. Erzebet does love a hoodie, so look for that and more to appear on site in the coming weeks.

As for books, An Inquiry into Necromancy is still in production (we apologise for the length of time this one is taking – it is huge!). The Black Raven hardcover is printing, and the paperback will be available on 24 April. Our next release is Laylah: The Life of Leila Waddell by Darren Francis. The hardcover edition (scarlet, of course) will be available to pre-order on 17 April. We’ll post more about it then.

Now for the not-so-fun. There is no way to keep up with what currently has a tariff, what might have a tariff, what doesn’t have a tariff, and anything we say about this issue today could change tomorrow. The impact this nonsense has on small businesses is dreadful, and it puts publishers – who need to make decisions about things happening months in advance – in an extremely difficult position. For the next 90 days you can still safely purchase books from your favourite UK publisher, be that us or Ninth Circle or Fulgur or whoever. No one knows what will happen when this pause expires. All we can say is that we will be monitoring the situation closely and will do what is needed to keep Hadean alive and thriving through these uncertain times.
As always, we are extremely grateful for your continuing support of Hadean Press. Thank you so much for standing by us.
