New Year News

Here we have a very belated welcome to 2025, and the first book news of the year.

The long-awaited hardcover edition of Annulorum Experimenta is now shipping! If you recall, we had to send the first printing back due to issues with the cover. I am happy to report the second printing meets our standards and those of you who pre-ordered this title either have it already, or it is on the way to you. We do have a huge number of orders to fill at the moment, thanks to our sale, so please bear with us. I am also hopeful that the hardcover editions of The Hours and Liber Umbrarum will arrive with us late this month. An Inquiry into Necromancy by Jim Baker remains open for pre-orders. We are also working on the first release of the new year, and the year’s schedule.

In other news, here’s something that might interest our UK friends: Grimoire Conjuration with David Rankine, ‘a two-day immersive retreat in an idyllic setting in South Gloucestershire, learning crucial techniques with hands-on experience.’ Hadean Press is not affiliated with the event hosts; however, since this is David’s only UK appearance in 2025, it deserves a mention. Finally, do we have any science fiction and fantasy lovers out there? I know we do! Most of you know that we opened a bookshop locally specialising in genre fiction, but that bookshop is out of reach to our global subscribers. However, you can still support us through our presence on Bookshop.org where we curate lists of the same titles you’d find if you could visit us in the flesh. Purchases there really help our little bookshop thrive, and since Hadean Press and Miss Lollipop’s Bookshop are intrinsically entwined, you are also helping the press.
